Itinerary
Day 1 - Friday July 1st
Plan to arrive into Iceland's Keflavik International Airport (KEF) near Reykjavic by 4pm. From there you'll be picked up by private driver and taken to our guesthouse in Sanur. Sanur is a beautiful town to walk around in and explore. Tonight we'll enjoy some delicious appetizers and welcome drinks while we get to know each other and talk about the amazing things in store for the week ahead. After our welcome, the night is yours to discover the charming town or you can choose to turn in early to prepare for our exciting week of exploring Bali!
*Note that flights from the US will require a departure date of August 31st or September 1st to make this arrival time.

Day 2 - Saturday July 2nd
This beautiful beach town is known for it's stunning sunrises, so if you're up for an early start you can join your host for a sunrise walk. The rest of the day will be spent seeing all this gorgeous town has to offer. There are countless restaurants, shops, spas, and beaches just waiting to be discovered and we'll have a chance to see them all with a relaxing start to our Bali adventure.

Day 3 - Sunday July 3rd
Today we'll spend time at the beautiful coastal temples of Tanah Lot and Uluwatu. Both of these temples have stunning ocean views and hold large significance for the Balinese as they are two of the seven sea temples said to provide spiritual protection for the island. After exploring these beautiful temples we'll relax at El Kabron, the cliffside beach club with stunning views and gourmet tapas.

Day 4 - Monday July 4th
Before making our way to our new guesthouse in Amed, we'll stop at Charly's Chocolate Factory on the small coastal town of Jasri. Here we'll sample the local chocolate and learn about its production. Anyone in the mood for a little adventure can take a ride on one of the large rope swings that soar out over the sea. We will next visit Taman Ujung water palace. This palace was once largely destroyed by the 1963 eruption of Mt. Agung. Most, but not all of it, has been restored, leaving a hauntingly picturesque mix of ruins and beautiful natural surroundings. Our last stop of the day will be at Tirta Ganga water palace with its maze of pools and fountains surrounded by lush gardens and stone carved statues. After wandering the grounds of this beautiful palace we'll enjoy a lunch at the restaurant that looks out over the pools. After we've returned to our guesthouse, the evening is yours to do whatever you'd like. Amed is a scenic fishing village on the east coast of the island. It's known for it's incredible snorkeling, black-sand beaches and breathtaking views of Mt. Agung. It's a wonderful town to explore by foot and we will have plenty of time during our stay to see it all.

Day 5 - Tuesday July 5th
We will begin our day at the beautiful Jemeluk Bay with some of the best snorkeling the island has to offer. Once you’ve had your fill of coral and fish, enjoy a massage on the beach or a meal at one of many warungs along the bay. You can take the rest of the evening exploring the town with your new friends, taking a sunset yoga class, or pampering yourself at one of the local spas.

Day 6 - Wednesday July 6th
After saying goodbye to our guesthouse in Amed, we'll begin our journey to Ubud with stops at some of Bali's most stunning waterfalls. We'll wander through river canyons and lush jungle before getting to the falls and swimming in their refreshing pools. We will take the rest of the afternoon to get accustomed to our new guesthouse in Ubud and our home for the remainder of our trip.

Day 7 - Thursday July 7th
We'll then make our way to Bali Art Market to hone our bargaining skills and pick up souvenirs of all kinds in the market's many stalls. After lunch at any one of Ubud's famous warungs, the rest of the day is yours to take in Ubud's temples, museums, or one of the great spas just steps away from where we're staying.

Day 8 - Friday July 8th
Today we'll visit the stunning temples of Gunung Kawi and Goa Gajah. Gunung Kawi is an 11th-century temple and funerary complex that was uncovered in 1920. It's comprised of 10 rock-cut shrines that are carved into the sheer cliff face and surrounded by green jungle. Goa Gajah is the famous elephant cave temple built as a place of spiritual meditation is a UNESCO world heritage site. We'll then visit the Tegalalang rice terraces, one of the most photographed attractions in all of Bali. We'll have a chance to wander the fields and have lunch overlooking the beautiful terraces.

Day 9 - Saturday September 10th
Today is our last full day on this amazing island and we can spend it however sounds best. Whether lounging by our refreshing guesthouse pool, wandering the local rice paddies, shopping in the markets, or indulging in a luxury spa day, it's sure to be an unforgettable day. In the evening we'll gather together at the exquisite Cafe Pomegranate overlooking the rice paddies to reminisce about our incredible trip and enjoy a delicious goodbye dinner.

Day 10 - Saturday July 9th
On this last day everybody will begin their journey home (or to the next destination of their private vacations or extension). Transportation to the Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar will be provided. See below for details for the extension to Nusa Lembongan island.

The total cost for this trip is $3990.00. You can pay the full amount when you register, or if you would like to break it up into payments, they would be as follows:
The initial trip deposit (First payment) of $990.00 is due immediately in order to reserve your spot.
If you reserve your spot before April 1st, 2022 the payment schedule will be:
Second payment in the amount of $1000.00 will be made by April 1st, 2022
Third payment in the amount of $1000.00 will be made by May 1st, 2022
Final payment in the amount of $1000.00 will be made by June 1st, 2022
If you reserve your spot between April 2nd and May 1st, 2022 the payment schedule will be:
Second payment in the amount of $1500.00 will be made by May 1st, 2022
Final payment in the amount of $1500.00 will be made by June 1st, 2022
If you reserve your spot between May 2nd and June 1st, 2022 you will need to pay the remainder of the trip cost in the amount of $3000.00 by June 1st, 2022.
Any reservations made after June 2nd, 2022 will require the full trip payment amount of $3990.00.

If you have to cancel your trip for any reason, the following refund schedule will apply. Please note the initial trip deposit is non-refundable. It is highly recommended you purchase travel insurance with a "cancel for any reason" option within 14 days of making deposit in the unlikely event you need to file a claim.
If you cancel by March 1st, 2022 - the full amount of the payments you have made so far (less the $990.00 deposit) will be refunded to you.
If you cancel between March 2nd and April 1st, 2022 - 75% of the payments you have made so far (less the $990.00 deposit) will be refunded to you.
