Check out the below itinerary for more details.
Itinerary
Day 1 - Friday March 4th
Plan to arrive into Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) by 4pm. From there you'll be picked up by private driver and taken to our hotel in the heart of the city. We'll enjoy a delicious array of appetizers and welcome drinks while we get to know each other and talk about the amazing things in store for the week ahead. Bangkok is an incredible city with so much to see and do. If you're interested in visiting some of the more well known tourist sites in the daylight, I recommend arriving at the airport earlier in the day. The Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha (along with many other interesting sites) can be reached by a fun and quick water taxi ride on the Chao Phraya river which can be reached by the foot just outside of our hotel. After our welcome, the night is yours to explore the bustling city or turn in early to prepare for our exciting week of exploring Thailand!
*Note that flights from the US will require a departure date of March 2nd or 3rd to make this arrival time.
Welcome appetizers included
Overnight in Bangkok
Day 2 - Saturday March 5th
Today we wake up early to experience a full day of immersing ourselves in the Thai way of life and culinary culture. We'll explore charming local communities, three traditional floating markets, and the famous train market while tasting unique local delicacies made with the freshest ingredients. We'll also enjoy a row boat ride through a coconut farm while learning about the traditional technique of coconut sugar making.
All meals included
Overnight in Bangkok
Day 3 - Sunday March 6th
After a leisurely breakfast at our hotel, we'll take a short one hour flight to Chiang Mai, the hub of northern Thailand, whose walled city still houses 30 temples dating back to the founding of the principality. Day 4 - Monday March 7th
We'll get an early start today to visit the nearby city of Chiang Rai. We'll see the striking White Temple in the morning light. This unique and modern temple has been made with entirely white materials and adorned with glittering silver pieces of mirror that make it a special sight to see. Along with the museum that houses works done by the architect of the White Temple, we'll also have a chance to partake in a short hike to a nearby waterfall and visit several other local temples. For the remainder of the evening you can choose to relax by the pool or venture out and see more of this friendly city for yourself.

Those who are daring enough can climb the 300-plus steps to the top to see the incredible grounds that house this Wat. There is a cable car to the top for those who do not wish to climb the stairs. Once we are all finished exploring Doi Suthep we'll walk to the nearby Orchid Jade Factory where we will see jade being carved and worked into beautiful pieces of jewelry while we learn about it's history and origins.
